As the Trans Services Specialist, Jenna assists the Trans Services Manager in implementing programming, group facilitation, resource referrals, collaborating with community partners, and working to support the trans community in whatever capacity they can.

Jenna chose to work at OUTMemphis because she feels like her voice will be heard here and that she can be a resource for the community through OUTMemphis. Also, OUTMemphis is dear to Jenna’s heart as it was the first organization to open their door and hearts to her when she first came out as Trans and was looking to get involved in the community.

In addition to her job at OUTMemphis, Jenna also runs two Transgender support groups on Facebook that she created and manages on her own. One is a social group and the other is a Trans makeup support group. Jenna is married with three children and has lived in the Mid-South her entire life. She loves the Memphis area and is devoted to making a difference in our community. Knowing that she has the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life is what drives Jenna daily. She has a heart and passion for our community. As a Trans woman herself, Jenna is aware of the challenges that Trans women face daily and is dedicated to helping change the future for our community.
