They are thrilled to support the sustainability of the OUTMemphis mission to provide quality life-saving and life-affirming services to the Mid-South LGBTQ+ community through donor relations and strengthening the development and administrative processes.
“It has been my dream to work at OUTMemphis for years. As someone who has navigated being a nonbinary lesbian and growing up in a conservative, religious environment, I deeply and personally appreciate how vital the work is to the community. I hope that I can continue to serve the community with OUTMemphis for many years to come and that together we can continue to strive for a world where all of us can live freely, honestly, and authentically.”
When she is not at OUTMemphis, Valerie loves to spend time with her amazing partner Sara, write, paint, garden, sing, and read. Her strongly held personal values include equity, empathy, vulnerability, adventure, and openness to new experiences.
