OUTMemphis is excited to announce a partnership with the Bluff City Sports Association! The Bluff City Sports Association (BCSA) has served as Memphis’s LGBTQ softball league since 1994, and many of the center’s strongest supporters were also taking names out on the field with BCSA.

Below is a statement from the Bluff City Sports Association:

The Bluff City Sports Association softball league is proud and excited to announce our partnership with OUTMemphis which started the beginning of 2017.

BCSA’s mission is to provide a safe environment for the LGBTQ community and its allies to play softball. Since 1994, we have worked to promote the growth of athletes both on and off the field while working to support the Memphis LGBTQ community. Our league ranges from newcomers to competitive players while offering a safe playing environment filled with friendship and fellowship.  The BCSA is also part of the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance (NAGAAA), the national gay softball organization.  For the past 40 years, NAGAAA has hosted the world’s largest gay sporting event, the Gay Softball World Series, in cities all over the United States.

OUTMemphis with its extensive history and leadership empowers, connects, educates, and are the ultimate advocates for the LGBTQ community of the Mid-South.   We are truly looking forward to the wonderful new relationships this will bring within the Memphis community.
