Professional Experiences and Accomplishments: I have been a nurse for 9 years and am currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Nursing. I have a passion for improving health outcomes, decreasing health disparities, and improving overall quality of life for underserved and marginalized populations. The quality of her work has been recognized by local, regional, national, and international organizations. Most recently her work was highlighted by the Tennessee Department of Health.

Committee Involvement: I am not on any committees yet.

Fun/Quirky Piece of Information: I love kickboxing, have a spoiled four-legged princess named Bailey, and an avid reader.

Why do you serve on the OUTMemphis Board of Directors?: I believe in the mission and work of OUTMemphis. I want to make a meaningful difference and give back in any way that I can.
