Happy Holiday’s Ya’ll……. it’s a few days before Christmas Eve and we want to invite ya to look in on the ladies of the Lowake, Texas chapter of  The Daughters of the Lone Star State. It’s time for  their annual new members meeting. The old group is on its’ last legs and is literally dying out, so  every effort is being made  to attract new members. Old wounds are opened, secrets revealed and some not so “christian” behavior is witnessed as  “outsiders” arrive who threaten the “high standards” and the “moral compass” the club represents.. If you are from the south, you probably know someone that these ladies represent in this wickedly funny, no holds barred look at racism and classism….from the brilliant mind of Del Shores..Sordid Lives, Southern Baptist Sissies and Yellow . Produced with special arrangement through Samuel French, INC.
