Congratulations to our very own Kayla Gore, Transgender Services Specialist, for her award at Middle Tennessee State University‘s LGBT+ College Conference!
Kayla was honored with the Community Excellence Award. She is seen here posing for a photo (left) with Marisa Richmond (right). Dr. Richmond is a professor in the History Department at Middle Tennessee State University and a tireless advocate for transgender equality in Tennessee and across the country. Currently she serves as a touchstone and a mentor for LGBTQ students on campus at MTSU, in Nashville, and across the state, as well as a Member-At-Large of the Democratic National Committee and a Commissioner on the Metro Human Relations Commission in Nashville, TN.
