Casey Bryant, former Vice Chair, steps into role as Board Chair.
Longtime Vice-Chair of the OUTMemphis Board of Directors, Casey Bryant, has stepped into their new role as Board Chair, ready to tackle the task of leading us into 2021.
During a critical time for LGBTQ+ individuals, this exciting transition deepens our capacity and commitments. We celebrate the significant contributions of Jonathan M. Ealy, notably for presiding over the transition of Executive Directors and serving as Interim Executive Director, 2018-2019.
We welcome Casey Bryant at this pivotal, national moment. Casey comes to the role with seasoned professional leadership for the Latinx, immigrant, and refugee communities. Their visibility as an outspoken nonbinary voice for justice in the South will push forward our intersectional efforts towards equity.

I am thrilled to accept the position of Chair to lead OUTMemphis’ Board of Directors through 2021, a year that has already seen challenges, but also holds possibilities! Having served as the Vice Chair for many years, I feel poised to contribute my energy to solidifying our already strong leadership and ensuring an infrastructure that will usher OUTMemphis into a new level of service to the LGBTQI community of Memphis and the MidSouth.
I am beyond honored and humbled to be added to such a prestigious list of change makers. These individuals were not only instrumental in the founding and advancement of OUTMemphis, but also in the creation and critical support of our LGBTQIA+ community in Memphis and the Mid-South. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to serve in various capacities for an organization which is vital and a necessary resource in our city and region. Thank you for this tremendous honor and I look forward to continuing my service to OUTMemphis for many years to come.
