OUTMemphis declared May LGBTQ Seniors Celebration Month, and boy did we celebrate!
A huge thank you to all of the people who attended events throughout the month. We laughed, we cried, we made beautiful art together, we went to the Dixon and got some artistic inspiration, we sweated and smiled in Tai Chi, and much more.
And even though May is over, the fun still continues! Check out next month’s events, mark your calendars, and take action for LGBTQ seniors across the country before it is too late.

All over the country, religious communities who are anti-LGBT are working to legalize their discrimination. The “right to discriminate” bills have passed in some states, are in process in many others, and this harmful policy is even now being considered at the national level.
SAGE, a national advocacy and service organization for LGBT seniors, is fighting back and needs your help! Sign the petition and learn more about how the “religious right to discriminate” poses a particular threat for our elders.
