It’s time for the 2019 Memphis Youth Count!

Each year, a city-wide count of people experiencing homelessness is conducted to help provide funding and services. However, LGBTQ youth ages 18-24 often get lost in the margins of these counts for a multitude of reasons. Because of this, OUTMemphis has committed to do our part for this initiative.

Are you 18-24, LGBTQ, and experiencing (or have experienced) homelessness?

If so, we’d love to see you on January 23rd. Taking the survey will help the City of Memphis bring more resources to the city to support homeless youth. Staff from local government and non-profit organizations will be on-hand to make sure you get access to services and support. At each location, you will be asked to take a brief survey. Following the survey there will be free  food, employment opportunities, college and higher education resources, health screenings, and other services and goodies available, as well as professionals ready to support you over time.
