As we speak, LGBTQ young adults who were out of options for housing are now getting ready to move into new apartments! This is the result of rapid re-housing, a part of the Metamorphosis Project that connects homeless LGBTQ young adults to stable housing and supportive services. These young adults still need your help! Each young adult is moving into an empty place and is in need of some common “new home” items. Currently OUTMemphis is seeking donations for care packages for these young adults:
- Target gift cards
- Air Mattresses (Or a donated twin mattress from Leesa)
- Blanket and sheet sets (Twin size)
- Microwaves and other small appliances
- Cookware and other small household items
