- Monday, 11/20:
- We Care Call Volunteer Training, 10:00a-12:00p: This a volunteer training for the We Care Call program. If you are an LGBTQ adult 55+ and you want to volunteer this program, email Senior Services for more information.
- HIV testing, 6:00p-9:00p: Need an HIV test? Come to OUTMemphis and get a free, rapid, oral swab HIV test. No blood and your results will be ready in 20 minutes. For more information, email Martavius Hampton, Sexual Health Program Manager.
- Trans Awareness Week: Trans Day of Remembrance Vigil, 5:30p-6:30p: Join us as we grieve together for the Transgender lives lost this year to hate. We will raise the flag again in a candlelight vigil. For more information about Trans Awareness Week 2017 check out our website or the facebook event.
- Trans Awareness Week: Trans Best of Memphis Release Party, 6:30p-8:30p, First Congregational Church (1000 Cooper St, Memphis, TN 38104): After the vigil, walk over with us to First Congo for the Trans Best of Memphis Release Party. We’ll have free print copies of the 2018 Trans Best of Memphis guide along with live entertainment and light refreshments to celebrate the end of Trans Awareness Week. - [Trans Awareness Week] Perpetual Transition, 6:00p-7:30p: Perpetual Transition is a support and social group for transgender people in the Memphis metropolitan area that has been meeting since 2005. Perpetual Transition is safe and confidential, and is open to transgender people of any variety. This Monday, PT will be participating in the Trans Awareness Week TDOR event and the Release Party.
