  • Monday, 3/27:

    • Trans ID Workshop, 6:00p-7:00p: This workshop will cover how to change name and gender information on government identifying documents (ex: Social Security card, Driver’s License, State ID, etc). For more information email Kayla Gore, Transgender Services Specialist.
    • HIV testing, 6:00p-9:00p: Need an HIV test? Come to OUTMemphis and get a free, rapid, oral swab HIV test. No blood and your results will be ready in 20 minutes. For more information, email Martavius Hampton, Sexual Health Program Manager.
    • Perpetual Transition, 7:00p-9:00p: Perpetual Transition is a support and social group for transgender people in the Memphis metropolitan area that has been meeting since 2005. The group has recently expanded to address the growing needs of our community. Perpetual Transition is safe and confidential, and is open to transgender people of any variety.     • P.L.U.S. (Promoting Longevity, Unity, and Self-Care), 7:00p-9:00p, First Congregational Church (1000 S. Cooper): P.L.U.S. is a supportive social group for people living with HIV. To learn more and request to join the group email Martavius Hampton.

    • Seeking Serenity, 5:30p-6:30p: Seeking Serenity is an LGBTQ-affirming support group for the family, friends, and partners of addicts. For more information contact the organizer.
    • Bold and Beautiful, 7:30p-9:30p: B&B is a social support group for Trans Women of Color. The purpose of this group is to promote education and awareness as it relates to sexual health. B&B also promotes healthy living, personal care, and community involvement. For more information email Kayla Gore, Transgender Services Specialist.
    • OUTLoud Comedy Showcase, Thursday Throwdown! 9:00p-11:00p: Join us for an unforgettable two hours of LGBTQ comedy. Comedians include the famous Jenn Snyder, Katrina Coleman, and Cole Bradley. For more info check out the facebook event.
