  • Monday, 9/4: OUTMemphis is closed for Labor Day.
    • Perpetual Transition, 6:00p-7:30p: Perpetual Transition is a support and social group for transgender people in the Memphis metropolitan area that has been meeting since 2005. The group has recently expanded to address the growing needs of our community. Perpetual Transition is safe and confidential, and is open to transgender people of any variety. For more information email Kayla Gore, Transgender Services Specialist. Perpetual Transition will meet on Labor Day.

  • Wednesday, 9/6:
    • HIV testing, 6:00p-9:00p: Need an HIV test? Come to OUTMemphis and get a free, rapid, oral swab HIV test. No blood and your results will be ready in 20 minutes. For more information, email Martavius Hampton, Sexual Health Program Manager.
    • Men’s Potluck, 6:00p-9:00p: This is a monthly gathering of GBTQ men. Bring a dish and meeting some new friends! For more information contact the Organizer.
  • Thursday, 9/7:
    • Gray Gays Kickoff Event: Gray Gays is a volunteer group for active LGBTQ seniors. We work on projects designed to improve the lives of seniors in the Mid-South. Join us for our kickoff event and help us get seniors registered to vote through the mail. For more information, check out our website, the facebook event, or contact the Senior Services Committee.
    • Seeking Serenity, 5:30p-6:30p: Seeking Serenity is an LGBTQ-affirming support group for the family, friends, and partners of addicts. For more information contact the organizer.
    • Bold and Beautiful 7:30p-9:30p: This is a weekly social supportive group for Transgender women of color. For more information contact Kayla Gore, Transgender Services Specialist.
  • Friday, 9/8: OUTMemphis will close at 6:00p for Outflix Film Festival.
    • Delta TransMasculine 5:30p-6:30p: DTM is a group for trans men and transmasculine individuals. For more information, contact Kayla Gore, Transgender Services Specialist.
    • GenQ, Malco Ridgeway Cinema Grill (5853 Ridgeway Center Parkway): Generation Queer, or GenQ, is a social group for 18-25 year old LGBTQ and Allied young adults. GenQ will meet at Malco Ridgeway Cinema Grill for the Outflix opening film, Forbidden.
    • Forbidden, 7:00p-8:50p, Malco Ridgeway Cinema Grill (5853 Ridgeway Center Parkway): Outflix’s 20th Anniversary will kick off with Forbidden, a documentary film which follows Moises Serrano, a gay man and an undocumented immigrant fighting for his rights in North Carolina.     • Cherry Pop, 9:00p-10:20p, Malco Ridgeway Cinema Grill (5853 Ridgeway Center Parkway): Outflix will continue with Cherry Pop. Cherry Pop! is about a newcomer struggling with being the outcast on his first night performing and a drag-legend coming to terms with life after her last night performing.     • B&B, 10:30p, Malco Ridgeway Cinema Grill (5853 Ridgeway Center Parkway): Outflix will round out Friday with B&B. B&B is the story of a hay couple who return to bait the Christian owner of a remote Christian B&B who they had successfully sued him for not allowing them to share a bed.
