Please join OUTMemphis for OUTBid 2019, a special benefit evening to honor our community and our three decades in pursuit of a more affirming Memphis. A live and silent auction will be accompanied by dinner, drinks, dancing, and the announcement of our new Roll of Honor, fourteen individuals (to be announced) who we are recognizing for their contributions to LGBTQ causes. The evening will feature the unveiling of our new OUTMemphis video from Forever Ready Productions; remarks from Executive Director Molly Rose Quinn and Chairman of the Board of Directors Jonathan Ealy; DJ Cashmere; and Phillis Lewis, founder of Love Doesn’t Hurt, as emcee. Brand new 30th anniversary swag will be on hand.
In our 30th year, OUTMemphis has a lot to celebrate: Construction is happening now on our Youth Emergency Center, our 22nd year-running queer film festival, OUTFlix, will be moving to Midtown this October, and our programs and direct services have tripled in size over the last ten years… including our sexual health services and wellness programs; our outreach and social support for the trans community; our education and advocacy for young people; our community building for LGBTQ+ seniors; and our broad efforts to engage LGBTQ+ individuals in aspects of civic life.
