The Memphis Bevy is a fun new social group intended as a way for LGBTQ-identified women of all identities to socialize and make connections with peers. They do this through a series of get-togethers and events focused on bringing queer women into designated spaces that are safe and affirming to allow for authentic communication and networking.
From The Memphis Bevy:
“As a part of the greater network that is The Bevy – originating in Birmingham -The Memphis Bevy was formed in 2019 with the purpose of creating a space for LGBTQ-identified women in the Memphis area to network, socialize, and find belonging. We host a monthly happy hour and are still getting into a rhythm of making it the same time every month. Additionally, we host special events like L Word trivia, holiday gatherings, and member-planned activities, so be on the lookout for those, too.”
The next such get-together is happening on Thursday, June 27th @ 6:00p at High Cotton Brewery (598 Monroe Ave, Memphis, TN 38103). OUTMemphis will be on-site as a co-host, so come out and see us!
