The OUTMemphis Decriminalization Street Team works with over-criminalized members of the LGBTQ community around issues like over-policing, HIV-criminalization, housing disparities, and making neighborhoods safer.
The Street Team consists of a core group of volunteers who do regular outreach in the Midtown area, handing out safety kits, condoms, connecting people to sexual health services, and linking people to the resources that OUTMemphis has for the LGBTQ+ community.
The Street Team is always looking for new volunteers. If you are interested in working on issues that affect vulnerable members of the LGBTQ community, we are looking for you!
