The Metamorphosis Project has helped to place 15 homeless LGBTQ young adults into apartments this year, and connected many others to critical resources like emergency shelter, health care, legal transition support, and more. For our young adults adjusting to life in their new apartments, this will be their first holiday in their new home.
Getting stable housing is an achievement for these young people, and all of them are working hard to become self-sufficient. While we were able to secure them furniture with the help of Ikea and many generous local donors, there are still plenty of smaller items that would go along way to making this transition easier for them.
