Tennessee Equality Project is an initiative based in Nashville, but that spans the entire state of Tennessee. TEP focuses on supporting legislation on a state level that affirms and benefits LGBTQ people, and adamantly fights against legislation that harms us or hinders our quality of life. TEP has been instrumental in overturning several detrimental legislative initiatives.
TEP Shelby County is the chapter of Tennessee Equality Project that is local to the Mid-South area. Their May meeting is happening Wednesday, May 15th at Midtown Crossing Grill from 6:00p-7:30p. During this meeting they will be discussing legislation they have been involved with, and they strongly encourage new and interested parties to join them.
