Sophia J. Balderrama

Metamorphosis Project Case Manager

β€œI love case management at OUTMemphis, because it is truly one-of-a-kind. It’s personalized, affirming, collaborative, and centered on the whole person. In our housing work, we not only support folks in finding safe and stable places to liveβ€”we also walk alongside them as they access gender-affirming care, sexual health resources, and other critical supports. We do things differently here and I love that I get to be part of it!”

Liberia Nucklos

Case Manager

β€œI love case management at OUTMemphis because I get to be a calm, steady voice when life feels loud and overwhelming. Sometimes it’s about resources, and sometimes it’s just about reminding folks they’re not aloneβ€”and that they matter, exactly as they are. I get to cheer people on as they figure things out in their own way, at their own pace. It’s real, it’s messy, and it’s beautifulβ€”and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

Kelsey Olive, LMSW

Director of Case Management

"I love case management at OUTMemphis because it allows me to directly support my community and elevate queer individuals from all backgrounds. I’m passionate about creating affirming, person-centered care that considers each person’s holistic life experienceβ€”because everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported in their full identity."

jordan marley

prysm care navigator

β€œI am so excited to work within OUTMemphis as PRYSM Care Navigator. The opportunity to provide tangible resources and support for youth on their journey to accessing gender-affirming care means everything to me. OUTMemphis cultivates a true sense of belonging for those in the community and the chance to contribute to the organization's mission is a dream!”
